Are you familiar with the word missional? (Read This)  In “The High Priestly Prayer” of Jesus in John 17, as He is praying for those who will believe Jesus prays, “O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me.” (John 17:25, ESV)

In this weekend’s message at West Bradenton, one of the applications we discovered is our responsibility to declare the missional nature of His Name.

We are not just to send missionaries or send mission teams (although both of these are vital and our responsibility), however we are sent as a part of His church – the bride of Christ.   God sends His people as His ambassador to bring the hope of the resurrection every single day of our lives!  It is to be our declaration that His Name is missional. It is the very reason God has given each of us a voice!

So the real question is how is the missional nature of God being heard in your voice?

The past two days have been spent focusing on areas where we as a team sensed God at work. We have followed up on conversations with new friends and continue to see an openness to the Truth. Please pray for the strongholds of Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism to be broken and that God might set these captives free. This couple will forever be etched in my memory as the Spirit’s reminder to pray!
