My heart is filled with amazement at the activity of God’s Spirit within our church family this weekend.  I know… I know… I shouldn’t be amazed when God does exactly what He promises among His people!  But WOW!  My friend, Ed Newton, shared the truth of God’s Word clearly and powerfully as we considered Leaving a Lasting Legacy from Hebrews 12:1-2.  We witnessed several surrender their lives to Christ and baptized 15!  What was really amazing is that 8 of those who followed Christ in baptism, were “spontaneous.”  We have been praying for months for spiritual breakthrough in our church and community.  I sense this weekend was the start of God doing a new work within us!  Get ready!
